Limey Beans and Rice

(1 review) Write a Review

Did you know that when you pair rice and beans you get a complete protein? Good news, because we've gone the extra mile with triple the beans and a healthy handful of spinach. There's a reason this combo is a classic (and we livened it up with a little bit of garlic, chives, and lime).

Instructions: Empty contents of package into separate bowl or mug. Boil 10 ounces water (about 1.25 cups); combine boiling water with package contents. Cover. Allow to rehydrate approximately 15-20 minutes. More water may be added to achieve desired consistency. Eat! Enjoy! Adventure! *Recipes tested in Boulder, Colorado. Food may take longer to rehydrate above 5430’.

Tastiness Factor: HIGHLY UNDERRATED. Subtle. Sophisticated.

    Tasty and healthy

Really enjoyed on our trip last weekend. Topped with canned salmon. Made the other meals we brought seem inedible by comparison. Says 1 serving but could be 2.
